Carlsbad is about 45 minutes from our Temecula warehouse by way of the 15 and the 78, and crews run it several days a week during the season. We serve La Costa, Aviara, Bressi Ranch, Rancho Carrillo, Calavera Hills, Carlsbad Village, Olde Carlsbad, and Terramar.
Coastal homes ask more of the hardware. Salt air corrodes cheap sockets and clips within a season, which is why we only use commercial-grade C9 cord with sealed sockets and clips rated for the coast. Aviara, La Costa, and Bressi Ranch are Mediterranean and Santa Barbara style two-stories: stucco, clay or concrete tile, arched entries, and long eave runs that look terrific outlined in warm white. Closer to the water, Olde Carlsbad and Terramar mix beach cottages, flat-roofed moderns, and remodels, and we plan each of those on satellite before the call so the quote fits the house.

Does salt air affect Christmas lights on a Carlsbad home?

Can you light a flat-roofed or parapet-style home near the beach?
Yes. On flat roofs and parapets we run the line along the top edge of the parapet or the fascia so the outline still reads from the street. We look at the house on satellite before the call and talk through where the line goes.
Does my Aviara or Bressi Ranch HOA allow roofline lights?
Seasonal roofline lighting is permitted in Aviara, Bressi Ranch, La Costa, and the other Carlsbad associations we work in, inside a window that usually runs from mid-November through mid-January. Give us your dates and we plan around them.
